Jeffrey S. Liva, M.D., M.P.H., M.S.

With the healthcare industry traditionally being focused on illness as opposed to prevention, Dr. Liva founded Preventive Plus in 1987 as a medical practice designed to prevent illnesses and injury in employees in the workplace and/or other general populations.

Dr. Liva discovered that an extensive historical analysis of a patient’s medical records - with a focus on behavioral, dietary habits, and environmental exposure – can identify certain health risks factors and treat them before they develop into more serious illnesses. With this proactive approach to occupational and public healthcare management, Dr. Liva has found that a proactive approach to your company’s health management is the new paradigm in healthcare management/treatment.

With today's razor-thin operating margins, Dr. Liva's services will allow you to achieve better operating efficiencies, improve productivity, and make a positive impact on the health of your workforce and their families. Preventive PLUS provides a full spectrum of health, wellness, safety, and benefits solutions to solve even the most unusual challenges of our corporate client base.

“As healthcare becomes more expensive, the resources may not be available in the future to treat illnesses after they are discovered. The way to combat a scarcity of resources is to identify individuals within in a given population with health risk factors - like smoking - and make sure they receive the necessary treatment and behavioral modification to promote healthy living within that population.” – Dr. Liva (6/9/2016)
